About JLC

Jan Lasserud Construction (JLC) is a general and cleanroom construction provider throughout Minnesota. We combine over 70 years of construction experience to provide personalized services and expert workmanship to all of our projects, ranging from private service work to major public projects.

JLC is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise.

  1. Safety: JLC has a longstanding commitment to onsite safety. Since our inception, JLC has not had a single work-loss incident, and none with any of our project sub-contractors or suppliers. JLC has been the recipient of the MN Governors award for four year running, in recognition of our commitment to safety. Our safety planning extends to all aspects of a construction project, including general public, visitors, and employees of the client, customers of the client, as well as all JLC employees and affiliates. The safety and wellbeing of our people and clients is of the greatest importance and highest value for JLC.  As of 2015 JLC Construction holds an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of .07

Jan Lasserud

Founder of JLC Construction

Jan started as an apprentice in 1977, continued on to become a journeyman carpenter through the apprenticeship program, he spent years working in clean rooms, renovating offices and buildings. 
He started JLC Inc, January 1,1999 as he had built trusting relationships over the years with clients. 
Jan has retired from the company and loves spending time with his family.
 

Annette Lasserud

CEO/CFO

As JLC's CFO Annette works diligently to manage internal and project financial tracking.  As CEO, she manages the development, resources and strategic direction of Jan Lasserud Construction, LLC.

Raymond Bayrand

Senior Project Manager

Cleanroom construction expert, with over 25 years of experience, from Class 1 to Class 10,000 certification.  Ray manages design and installation, advancing with the strict needs of the industry, working passionately on general and cleanroom construction that exceeds design parameters.
