About JLC

Jan Lasserud Construction (JLC) is a general and cleanroom construction provider throughout Minnesota. We combine over 50 years of construction experience to provide personalized services and expert workmanship to all of our projects, ranging from private service work to major public projects.

  1. Safety: JLC has a longstanding commitment to onsite safety. Since our inception, JLC has not had a single work-loss incident, and none with any of our project sub-contractors or suppliers. JLC has been the recipient of the MN Governors award in recognition of our commitment to safety. Our safety planning extends to all aspects of a construction project, including general public, visitors, and employees of the client, customers of the client, as well as all JLC employees and affiliates. The safety and wellbeing of our people and clients is of the greatest importance and highest value for JLC.  As of 2026 JLC Construction holds an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of .8

Justen Lasserud

CEO

As JLC’s CEO, Justen provides strategic leadership and oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, project management, and long-term growth. With nearly 20 years of experience in the construction industry, he brings extensive hands-on knowledge and expertise to every project. Justen assumed leadership of JLC on January 1st, 2020, continuing the company’s commitment to quality, professionalism, and specialized cleanroom construction. 

Mariah Lasserud

CFO

As JLC's CFO, Mariah oversees the company’s financial management and internal operations. She manages project and financial tracking while coordinating accounting, payroll, invoicing, administrative processes, and the day-to-day functions that keep JLC running smoothly. With experience working directly in the field as a Cleanroom Protocol Manager, Mariah brings a hands-on understanding of JLC’s projects and the specialized environments in which the company operates.

Raymond Beyrand

Senior Project Manager

As JLC’s Senior Project Manager, Ray brings more than 30 years of experience in cleanroom and general construction, with extensive expertise spanning environments from Class 1 to Class 10,000. He oversees the design, planning and installation of cleanroom projects, ensuring each project meets the demanding requirements and performance standards of the industry. Ray’s hands-on knowledge and dedication to quality allow him to navigate complex construction challenges while delivering solutions that meet or exceed design parameters.
